Meet Charlotte

I’m Charlotte, the baker behind Baked by Baxter.

I started baking as a hobby, mostly around life as a mum and working in the emergency services. Over time, what started as something I enjoyed turned into people asking me to make cakes for birthdays, celebrations and special occasions, and eventually into Baked by Baxter.

I love making cakes that feel personal to the person they’re for, whether that’s something simple and pretty, completely over the top, or built around a very specific idea.

Everything is made by me in Hemel Hempstead, and I still genuinely love seeing an idea go from a message or photo on someone’s phone to the finished cake.
